Patil had a son by Srisaila Mallikarjun's grace. The name of the child was kept as Mullappagoud. The boy was very fond of everyone. The spiritual ambition was more than that of a child's wealth / wealth. Because their home environment was as spiritual as it was. At the young age, he took Gurudiksha and became a great disciple of the guru. Later this boy abandoned the world and went away like a Cuckoo. There was a village known as Gundewadi which was located 10 to 12 kilometers north of the Athani in Belgaon district. There was a dense forest near the village where there is a Vadgari hill. Kumar Mallappagoud arrived in that dense forest. They loved the region very much. By eating the fruits and tubers in the desert, he began to take spiritual initiation. He did not speak much to anyone. Sometimes he speak with the devotees who are coming to see him. Being in the young, and staying in forest (forest in Kannada language is Kad), and received various Siddhis, people started calling him as Kadsiddha. He never opposed the joy and the mind of the people. That is, he had his silent consent and later he forgot the name of his mallappagoud and became popular in the name of Kadsiddheshwar. Shri Kadsiddheshwar Maharaj proceeded from the village of Kannur and started entering the Karvir region. (Now it is known as Kolhapur)
