Shri Samarth Sadguru Gurulingjangam Maharaj
Shri Kadsiddheshwar Maharaj gave “Naam Diksha” to Narayan alias Shri Gurulingjangam Maharaj of Karnataka Devnimbargi district. Shri Gurulingjangam Maharaj was born in Solapur in 1712 and he left his world in 1807 at Shrikhetra Nimbargi. At that time, the pilgrim, Shri Kadisiddheshwar Maharaj give spiritual grace to Shri Gurulingjangam Maharaj at a mountain cave of Siddhagiri And said that, "If you practice sadhana, then you’re your life will change & you will be famous in spirituality". After that he returned home and started doing sadhana. From 31 years of age to 67 years of age, Maharaj has been practicing Naam Sadhana. Nearly 36 years have been practiced uninterruptedly. After reaching the high place in Parmarth, after 28 years Shri Maharaj was busy in preaching the welfare of the people and for the salvation of the people. After Ramanavami in the month of Chaitra, Chaitra Ekadashi on Thursday, Maharaj said that he should go inside. On Friday, Laxmi sister was sitting in front of Maharaj all day in 1885. At 1 o'clock in the night, Maharaj sang Tukaram maharaj’s Abhang & was continuously chanting naam & Maharaj merged with Brahmatattva. At that time Maharaj was 95 years old. After leaving the body, Maharaj opened his mouth while putting Shivling in his mouth. The Funeral was done in front of the Bhimrai temple at Nimbargi.
